Motor car engine ZMZ-5233.10 / 5234.10

Gasoline, carburetor, 8-cylinder, V-type engine with increased power. Cylinders are in V-arrangement in aluminium cylinder block.

This is a relatively cheap, field-proven and easy-of-access in maintenance engine. Simple and unpretentious, it is easy to repair and requires no highly skilled maintenance staff which is especially critical for Russia in terms of large distances between service stations. In addition, accessibility of repairs is provided with the wide spread of spare parts from ZMZ.

For the purpose of the environment pollution reduction the engine is equipped with the exhaust gas recirculation system.

The engine ZMZ-5233.10 is installed on vehicles such as GAZ-3307, GAZ-3308 and their model modifications.

The engine ZMZ-5234.10 is installed on buses PAZ (Pavlov Bus Plant) -3205 and PAZ-3206.
