Motor car engine ZMZ-511.10

Gasoline, carburetor, 8-cylinder, V-type engine.

The following engineering changes were made in ZMZ-511.10 engine for improvement of the performance capabilities:

cylinder head is made with screwed intake ports and high turbulent

combustion chambers;

distribution shaft with the changed stages and angular arrangement of cams;

studless fastening of main bearings caps in cylinder block and enforced

base flange of clutch housing;

pistons are manufactured with barrel shape of the skirt and 2 mm high

channels for obturator piston rings;

upper obturator piston rings are made of high-duty cast iron;

enforced clutch driven plate;

enforced cast iron front engine support bracket.

For the purpose of pollutant atmospheric emissions reduction the exhaust gas recirculation system is used. The engine is designated for installation on trucks of normal capacity.
